Application Procedure for an ac3 account
* Read the Acceptable Usage Policy
* Create a Researcher profile in the research database
* Print a copy of the application form, available in postscript or PDF formats: Account application form
* Contact your local campus coordinator, or ac3 directly if you are not from a member academic institution. Once you have signed the user agreement, and had it countersigned by the campus coordinator, you will receive an e-mail and separately your password (make sure you supply us with a fax number because we send the initial password to that number, email is not possible) as well as instructions on how to access ac3.
Resource allocation (RAC) is a completely separate procedure. By default, only very modest resources are available to allow testing and benchmarking of applications.
